Power Poses and Looking Up; Perspective

I spend a lot of time looking up when i'm outside. I've said many times before that it probably makes me look insane, or else just like an air head. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing:

Sorry. I know that video is ten minutes long already. But i have more to say about it too. So i can be a bit of an air head sometimes, in fact air and water are neck and neck for being the element i have the closest affinity with. I'm either somewhere else entirely in my head, or just sort of rolling with the flow of whatever happens. This doesn't seem all that conducive to getting things done, but one can always harvest the forces of whatever they identify with, be it elements, zodiacs, a particular demographic you belong to, a hobby, interest, passion, or a social group, possibly your family. Whatever you live for already can be made to fuel you into whatever you want to be.
Back to the clouds. I'm sure you've heard of power poses, and if not, you'll still get the picture. Positions usually standing upright, that are open and stretched out. In my last post, i suggest to the idea that different people need different levels of stimulation to achieve the same effect. The same is true for the effect of power posing. For me personally, looking up and watching the clouds has the natural by-product of putting me in a slightly more "powerful" position, with my head upstretched, shoulders relaxed, doing whatever i'm doing.
Your body and your mind are viscerally connected by literal flesh, so you have to give credit to the effect the two have on each other, that is at least real. Can you venture to entertain the idea that the whole "outside-in" happiness scheme... might actually have some perceivable effect on you? Looking up at the clouds, for me, not only encourages me to slow down and pay attention to the moment, but also physically puts me in a position that subconsciously communicates to myself that being held this way is right and good, and that i deserve to take up space, to be looked at, to exist. Changing your posture even just a little can help guide you to a place in yourself that already exists. You already are the person you want to be, you're simply still growing that person.
I say embrace whatever you can bring yourself to, and anything else, find a way the change. I often say "You can do anything as long as you can do the work it takes. Wanting is part of the work, patience is some of the hardest stuff you can do, but you can do hard things, because you can do anything." Take whatever you already are and see how far it goes. You, as a human being, are capable of so much, as we are successors of the very self-same people that legends and stories, religions, whathaveyou, have kept alive far beyond the span of their physical existence. Legends are often based on some form of the truth, and even with that grain of salt in mind, think of the things humans have yet to accomplish, that you may well be the first to do. Look how far we've come, think how far we'll go!
If you increase your perspective, you'll have a better feel for things that once would have seemed outside your grasp. Think how small we are in the universe, think of how much room we have to grow. Additionally, if you look up, it gives you a sense of wonder at the world, seeing these new things you may never have really noticed before, things that might feel new and bright. It might get you feeling ways that most assume are feelings for when we're small.
So find a position that suits you! An activity, a place. Anything. Find something that naturally compliments you, and gives you that sense of wonder again. Go there, use it, in any spare moments you have. The simpler the better. Old habits die hard, so it might not come easy. But like i said, you can do anything, if you can do the work it takes. You have to want it, and if you don't, that's fine. You just won'd do it. Be patient with yourself, and give yourself the benefit of the doubt. Always is ideal, but sometimes is still better than never. Start now. Change your mind. Do whatever you want--but do it. Start today, or later. No such thing as too late. Life is long, and getting longer. Take some time to look up.
